The Earth's Changing Climate
Professor Yongkang Xue of UCLA's Department of Atmospheric & Oceanic Sciences says, "The DVD Earth's Changing Climate offers an examination of global climate change, and explains the concepts of energy balance and the greenhouse effect; and looks at such fingerprints of climate change as rising temperatures, melting glaciers, and altered behaviors of plants and animals. This DVD is ideal to complement the materials that I teach in the class 'Applied Climatology,' which presents basic knowledge of the components in the physical and biological environments, and how environment will change under global climate change scenarios." This media acquisition was funded through OID's Mini Grant program.
Instructors may schedule this title for class use by contacting OID's Instructional Media Collection & Services. (IMCS)
